This year’s edition of BMS Project has been covered by the substantive patronage by the Digital University Foundation.
The Foundation deals with the development of strategic digital competences, cooperating with Harvard Business School, Stanford University, MIT and many independent lecturers and lecturers from around the world. Since 2017, the foundation has been the sole representative of Singularity University in Poland, an American think-tank from Silicon Valley, which educates and inspires leaders to apply technologies that face the great challenges of humanity.
The panel opening the conference will be led by the President of the Digital University Foundation, Ms. Jowita Michalska „Longevity and robots, or how to survive the digital revolution – Predictions by Ray Kurtzweil, the most important futurologist in the world.”

During this year’s edition of BMS Project, a lecture will be given on „BuildingSMART in Poland – a new stage in the digitization of construction. The presentation will be devoted to the creation of the Polish branch buildingSMART International, which is one of the most important international organizations in the construction industry. Its goal is to create, improve and promote open standards of information exchange in the construction sector, as well as to certify software and professionals. The Polish branch will bring together participants in the construction market as well as their business partners.
The lecture will be led by Kamil Stolarski – Legal Advisor, managing partner at SMW Legal, co-organizer of the Polish buildingSMART branch and member of the BIM Klaster association, PhD student at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.

Klaster Wspólnota Wiedzy i Informacji w Zakresie Technik Informacyjnych i Komunikacyjnych
The main objective of the cluster “Knowledge and Innovation Community for Information and Communication Technologies” is to establish a common cooperation platform for innovative Polish and European IT & ICT Companies, institutions using IT as well as local governmental bodies and Colleges & Universities and specialized higher education institutions.
The main objective of Partners is to effectively use the competence of cluster members and their research & development capabilities, through joint development and implementation of innovative IT and ICT projects as well as joint application for funds for their execution. The foreseen activities also include new technology IT & ICT training of specialists for Companies.
The objectives relate directly to the development and growth of the Polish and European information society
Setting up the Knowledge and Innovation Community Cluster relates directly to the intent to establish in Wrocław, Poland an EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community for Information and Communication Technologies.
Cooperation of Cluster Partners concentrates mainly on improving competitiveness of IT companies and European economy, as well as development and synergy within the “knowledge triangle” – i.e. scientific research, implementations for innovative industry and education.
Experience, innovation and proficiency of Cluster Partners under the Knowledge and Innovation Community for Information and Communication Technologies, fully justify the drive and activities related to the application in the European contest for establishing and organizing the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community.
Narodowa Agencja Poszanowania Energii S.A. (NAPE) -National Energy Conservation Agency (NAPE) was established in 1994 with an aim of popularizing efficient and rational energy usage, above all in the building sector, and the principles of sustainable development.
NAPE specializes in energy consulting, energy auditing and certification of buildings. NAPE is one of the few companies in Poland that elaborate energy performance certificates for complex buildings equipped with advanced technical systems and for public buildings. NAPE trains energy auditors, publish textbooks and spreadsheets for the preparation of audits, and issue educational brochures.
NAPE participates in projects co-financed by the European Commission concerned with energy efficiency of buildings, financing modernization of buildings, renewable energy sources implementation, polygeneration, promotion of energy saving, integrated design, and innovative HVAC technologies. NAPE preparet applications for subsidies from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, European Funds, thermomodernization bonuses from the bank. NAPE is also a verifying consultant for the Polish Sustainable Energy Financing Facility PolSEFF. NAPE also verifies projects financed by the European Investment Bank.
Klaster Zrównoważona Infrastruktura – Sustainable Infrastructure Cluster is a project jointly implemented by entities interested in developing, implementation and commercialization of innovative technologies in the area of construction industry and automation of modern technology. On 27th Jan 2011 cooperation was formalized by signing of the cluster agreement. The Cluster consists of numerous entities specialising in science and business (e.g. Jagiellonian Univeristy, AGH University of Science and Technology, Institute of Advanced Technologies, Krakow Technology Park and a number of private companies from all over Poland). Cluster Sustainable Infrastructure as a co-operational network creates for its members an organizational base, provides funds and infrastructure for the development, implementation and commercialization of innovative products and technologies. Cluster team constantly acquires and distributes Polish and worldwide expertise, popularises the world’s emerging innovations and transfers them to the Polish market of low-energy buildings. Cluster functions also as a platform enabling to establish international cooperation and to exchange information and experience of scientists, architects and designers with installers, contractors and investors interested in low-energy construction and green technologies.
COORDINATOR: The Institute of Consulting Co. (Krakow) is a present leader of the Sustainable Infrastructure Cluster responsible for management, development and creating a network of international cooperation of the cluster. The Institute of Consulting Co is also a Polish leader in trainings specializing in renewable energy sources, alternative heating systems, energy efficiency and passive house design.
Polska Rada Faciliti Management – The Polish Facility Management Council is an association of the most important players on the Polish market of FM services. The organization was created from a grassroots initiative of companies from the industry and the editorial team of the „Real Estate Manager” magazine in 2017. The main goal of PRFM is, above all, consolidation of the industry, and market education in the area of professional provision of facility management services.
